The third edition of the event set a new participation record with over 4,200 runners lining up on the start line for the two races. A record was also set for the total number of nations represented, with the runners hailing from no less than 72 countries.
The Slovenian Michal Puskar and the Polish Karolina Wasniewska were victorious in the marathon. In the LG21 half marathon (with 51% of the participants being women) it was the Germans Tom Förster and Philine Meister who were standing tall at the top of the podium
