Mountain biking in its ‘marathon’ format attracts the strongest international interpreters of the discipline and, at the same time, allows thousands of amateur bikers to measure themselves on the same track and in the same event with the elite of the movement.

The organisers of the HERO Südtirol Dolomites are the coordinators and promoters of the newly born HERO UCI MARATHON WORLD CUP, the official name of the circuit which the International Cycling Union (UCI) has created in a calendar of five high profile races.
