An amazing 5,000 participants lined up at the start in Limone sul Garda, for the marathon, and in Arco, for the half marathon, with an even number of runners participating over the two distances. Over the longer distance of 42 km, the first to cross the finish line in Malcesine were the Germans Tobias Beibl and Natalie Hansen. For the half marathon the German Tom Förster and the Italian Alessia Scaini took the top spots on the podium.
